Control cable LiHH 5x0.5 – a reliable choice for control and automation systems
The LiHH 5x0.5 control cable from TECHNOKABEL is designed for a wide range of applications in control, signaling, monitoring and data transmission systems. It is suitable for both industrial installations and commercial or residential buildings. Its construction and properties make it an ideal solution for professionals and demanding users.
TECHNOTRONIK LiHH series cables are designed with safety and reliability in mind. The use of halogen-free (HFFR) materials in the insulation of the cores and the outer sheath minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire, which is particularly important in places with increased safety requirements. In addition, the cable is characterized by high flexibility and small dimensions while maintaining high mechanical strength – this facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
Construction and properties
The LiHH 5x0.5 cable is distinguished by careful workmanship. It consists of:
- Cores: flexible, stranded, twisted from soft copper wires (tinning on request), class 5 according to PN-EN 60228 – this ensures flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during operation.
- Core insulation: made of halogen-free (HFFR) material, with colors according to DIN VDE 47100 – this facilitates core identification during installation and ensures safe use.
- Twisted centers: insulated cores twisted in layers into a center – minimizes electromagnetic interference and increases resistance to mechanical damage.
- Sheath: made of halogen-free (HFFR) material in gray RAL 7001 color (other colors available on request) – provides protection against external factors and facilitates cable identification.
This cable is designed for fixed laying and for movable connections, making it a versatile solution for various applications. It can be used, among others, inside railway vehicles, subways, trams and in buildings. The nominal core cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the number of cores is 5 – this configuration allows for efficient transmission of control signals and data.
