Construction and properties

The key to the cable's versatility is its carefully designed construction. Multi-wire strands of soft copper (optionally tinned) provide flexibility and resistance to bending. The insulation made of halogen-free plastic (HFFR) increases the level of fire safety – in the event of a fire, the cable does not spread flames, emits minimal smoke and non-corrosive gases. The strands are twisted in layers in the core, and the whole is surrounded by a gray (RAL 7001) coating made of halogen-free plastic.
