This shielded control cable LiYCY-P 0.6/1 kV from TECHNOKABEL is a versatile solution for applications in control, safety, and automation systems, as well as for electrical power supply. Designed with flexibility and reliability in mind, it performs reliably in both fixed installations and applications with moving components within buildings. Its construction minimizes mutual interference between signals, while the shield ensures protection against electromagnetic interference.
Construction and Key Features
The cable features a meticulous design that guarantees durability and functionality. It consists of:
- Flexible, multi-stranded copper conductors (galvanized upon request), ensuring flexibility and ease of installation.
- Insulation made of insulating PVC (polyvinyl chloride), in colors compliant with DIN VDE 47100. In the TECHNOKABEL LiYCY-P 0.6/1 kV cable, colors are black and brown with white numbering print for pair identification.
- Twisted pairs to reduce interference.
- Cable core wrapped in a polyester tape for additional protection.
- Shield consisting of a braid of tin-plated copper wires, protecting against external electromagnetic interference and preventing emission of disturbances outside the cable.
- Outer sheath made of flexible PVC in RAL 7001 gray – other colors available on request.
The cable has a nominal conductor cross-section of 1 mm² and contains 4 cores, making it suitable for a wide range of control applications.
