Control cable for control and power systems

LiYCY-P 0.6/1 kV control cable is a flexible, shielded solution designed for use in energy control, protection and control systems, as well as for supplying electrical power. The construction with twisted pairs minimizes mutual interference between signals, which is particularly important in installations requiring high data transmission accuracy. Additionally, a common screen effectively protects against electromagnetic interference from both external sources and prevents the emission of interference generated by the cable itself.

This cable is ideal for stationary applications and in movable connections inside buildings. The PVC coating provides good resistance to oils, expanding its range of applications.

Construction and design features

LiYCY-P cable is characterized by a careful construction ensuring reliability and durability:

• Conductors: flexible, stranded, twisted with soft copper wires (tinned on request), class 5 according to PN-EN 60228.
• Insulation: insulating PVC in colors according to DIN VDE 47100 – in standard version or black and brown with white numbering of the pair (in LiYCY-P-Nr version).
• Twisting: insulated conductors are twisted in pairs, and then in the cable core.
• Shielding: the core is wrapped with a polyester tape, and then surrounded by a braid of tinned copper wires providing effective protection against interference.
• Sheath: made of PVC sheathing (PVC) in gray RAL 7001 – other colors are also available on request.

LiYCY-P 0.6/1 kV cable with a cross-section of 6 conductors (3x2x0.5 mm²) finds application in a wide range of installations:
