Control and power supply cable

Control cable LiYCY-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV is a flexible solution designed for use in energy control, protection and control systems, as well as for supplying electrical power. Thanks to the use of twisted pairs, this cable minimizes the mutual influence between signals, which is crucial in precise installations. A common screen effectively protects against electromagnetic interference from both outside and prevents its emission.

This cable works well in both fixed and mobile installations inside buildings. Its coating exhibits good resistance to oils, which expands the range of possible applications. The cable construction is based on flexible, stranded copper conductors class 5 (according to PN-EN 60228), insulated with insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC). In the LiYCY-P-Nr version, the insulation colors of the conductors are black and brown with white printing of the pair number, which facilitates identification.

Construction and properties

The cable construction includes twisted pair conductors, a core wrapped with a polyester tape, and a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires. The coating is made of plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in gray RAL 7001 – other colors are also available on request. The use of a screen provides protection against electromagnetic interference and minimizes interference emissions outside the cable.

Special versions of the cable are also available:

• TECHNOFLEKS LiYCEY-P: with a flexible grounding conductor under the screen.
• TECHNOFLEKS LiYCY-P-O: resistant to petroleum-based materials – ideal for gas stations or warehouses. Coating made of special PVC meeting the PN-EN 60811-2-1 standard.
• TECHNOFLEKS LiYC11Y-P: with increased mechanical strength, resistant to abrasion, tearing, oil, gasoline, bacteria and UV radiation – polyurethane coating.
• TECHNOFLEKS LiYCYv-P: with a reinforced polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating for outdoor installations and direct burial in the ground.

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² and consists of 4 conductors. This makes the cable versatile and can be used in many different applications.
