Control cable for control and power systems

LiYCY-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV control cable is a flexible solution designed for power control, safety and control systems, as well as for supplying electrical energy. The construction with twisted pairs minimizes the mutual influence between signals, which is particularly important in installations requiring high precision data transmission. Additional shielding protects against electromagnetic interference from both external sources and prevents its emission to the outside.

This cable works both in fixed installations and in applications requiring frequent movements, indoors. Its PVC coating provides resistance to oils, which expands the range of possible applications.

Construction and design features

The key to the reliability of this cable is its carefully designed construction. It uses flexible, stranded copper conductors class 5 according to PN-EN 60228, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation. The core insulation is made of insulating PVC, and the insulation colors comply with DIN VDE 47100 – in the LiYCY-P 0.6/1 kV version or black and brown with white pair number printing in the LiYCY-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV version. The cores are twisted in pairs, then in the cable center, which is additionally wrapped with a polyester tape to reinforce the insulation.

Protection against interference is provided by a braid of tinned copper wires with a high coverage density. The whole is surrounded by a PVC jacket in gray RAL 7001 – other colors are also available on request.

• Oil resistant (LiYCY-P-O): ideal for gas stations, fuel depots and other places exposed to contact with petroleum materials – the coating meets the requirements of PN-EN 60811-2-1.
• High strength (LiYC11Y-P): increased resistance to abrasion, tearing and the action of oil, gasoline, bacteria and UV radiation – the coating is made of polyurethane.
• For laying in the ground (LiYCYv-P): reinforced PVC coating allows direct burial of the cable in the ground and installation outdoors.

Thanks to the core cross-section of 1 mm² and 8 cores (twisted in pairs), this cable offers optimal performance for many applications.
