Control cable YKSLY-Nr 0.6/1 kV – reliability and flexibility in industrial installations

Control cable YKSLY-Nr 0.6/1 kV is a flexible solution designed for energy control systems, protection, control and power supply. It will work well in both industrial installations – production lines, air conditioning equipment – and in buildings where reliability and resistance to mechanical damage are required. This cable is particularly recommended where high flexibility and durability are needed.

Construction and application

The YKSLY-Nr cable is characterized by a carefully designed construction. It consists of flexible, stranded copper conductors (tinned on request), insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with white numbering of the conductor. The conductors are twisted into a core, which is wrapped with a polyester tape for additional protection. The whole is surrounded by a black coating of rubberized polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing resistance to abrasion and external damage. Thanks to this construction, the cable is suitable for permanent laying as well as for movable connections inside buildings. Additionally, the coating exhibits good resistance to oils.

It is worth noting the possibility of ordering cables with special properties:

• YKSLY-Nr-O: oil-resistant version, ideal for gas stations, warehouses or reloading stations for fuels.
• YnKSLY-Nr: cables with increased fire resistance, meeting the PN-EN 60332-3 standard in terms of flame propagation.
• HKSLH-NR: halogen-free cables, providing greater fire safety thanks to low smoke emission and the absence of corrosive gases.
• YvKSLY-Nr: cables with a reinforced coating, designed for laying outdoors and directly in the ground.
