Control cable YKSLY-Nr 300/500 V – reliability and flexibility in every circuit

The YKSLY-Nr control cable is a versatile solution for control, safety and power supply systems. It is suitable for both industrial installations – on production lines – and air conditioning equipment. Its flexible construction ensures easy installation and resistance to mechanical damage, which will be appreciated by both installers and end users. The cable is designed for permanent laying and for movable connections inside buildings.

Construction and application

The YKSLY-Nr cable stands out with its careful construction, which guarantees its durability and reliability. It consists of:

• Flexible, stranded copper conductors (tinning available on request), providing good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
• Conductor insulation made of black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with white numbering of the conductor – this facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation.
• Cable core wrapped with a polyester tape, which provides additional protection for the conductors against damage.
• Cable jacket made of black oil-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Cables in other colors are also available on request.

This cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and 3 cores is ideal for applications requiring flexibility and mechanical resistance.

Durability and safety – special cable versions

TECHNOKABEL also offers special versions of YKSLY-Nr cables adapted to specific working conditions:

• YKSLY-Nr-O: Oil-resistant cables, designed for use in places exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials (e.g. petrol stations).
• YnKSLY-Nr: Cables with increased fire resistance, meeting the PN-EN 60332-3 standard in terms of flame propagation.
• HKSLH-Nr: Halogen-free cables, emitting a minimal amount of toxic gases during a fire, increasing user safety.
• YvKSLY-Nr: Cables with a reinforced PVC jacket, designed for outdoor installations.
