Construction and Applications

The YvKSLY-Nr cable consists of 10 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², making it ideal for applications requiring multiple control or power conductors. The cores are twisted in layers around a central core, and the entire cable is wrapped with polyester tape to enhance strength. This construction ensures resistance to bending and abrasion, resulting in extended service life under demanding operating conditions.

Additionally, the cable exhibits good resistance to oils, expanding its range of applications—for example, in fuel stations or storage facilities. Special versions are available upon request: oil-resistant (YKSLY-Nr-O), enhanced flame-retardant (YnKSLY-Nr), or halogen-free (HKSLH-NR), allowing customization to specific installation requirements. The reinforced sheath also enables direct burial in soil or outdoor installation.
