Construction and application

The YvKSLY-Nr 0.6/1 kV cable is characterized by a carefully designed construction. 32 cores with a cross-section of 1 mm² are made of soft copper wires (optionally tinned), twisted to ensure flexibility. Each core is insulated with black PVC with a white number print for easy identification. The twisted cores are wrapped with a polyester tape for additional protection. The whole is surrounded by a black PVC coating, resistant to oil. This construction allows the cable to be used in both fixed installations and places requiring frequent bending.

This cable is used indoors, but thanks to the reinforced coating it can also be laid outdoors and directly in the ground – which expands its scope of use. This is particularly important when building industrial infrastructure or monitoring systems.
