This black YvKSLY-Nr 500V control cable with a cross-section of 14x1.5 mm² is a reliable solution for a wide range of applications in power engineering, automation and industrial installations. Construction and properties

The cable is designed for durability and safety. It consists of multi-wire, twisted copper conductors (zincing option available), insulated with black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with white wire numbering print. The wires are twisted in layers, and in the YKSLYżo-Nr version, the green-yellow protective conductor is located in the outer layer. The cable core is wrapped with a polyester tape, and the whole is surrounded by a black, rubberized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating. This construction provides resistance to mechanical and chemical damage – including the action of oils.

Applications and benefits

This cable is perfect for industrial installations, production lines and air conditioning equipment. It can be used both for permanent laying and for movable connections inside buildings. Additionally, special versions are available:

• Oil-resistant version (YKSLY-Nr-O): Designed for operation in places exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials (e.g. petrol stations).
• Increased fire resistance version (YnKSLY-Nr): Self-extinguishing coating meeting the PN-EN 60332-3 standard, limiting the spread of flame.
• Halogen-free version (HKSLH-Nr): Provides greater fire safety thanks to low smoke emission and the absence of corrosive gases during combustion.
• Version for outdoor laying (YvKSLY-Nr): Reinforced coating allows direct burial of the cable in the ground and installation outdoors.
