Flame-retardant control cable – reliability and safety of installation

This 21-core control cable YnKSLY-Nr 0.6/1 kV with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is a solid solution for both professional installers and end-users. Designed for control, protection and automation systems, as well as for powering devices in industrial installations. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and mechanical strength, which facilitates installation and ensures long-term operation. The black coating made of special rubberized PVC (self-extinguishing) ensures safe use, meeting the PN-EN 60332-3 standard in terms of limiting the spread of flames.

Construction and application

TECHNOKONTROL YnKSLY-Nr flame-retardant cables are designed to operate in energy control, protection and automation systems and to power electrical devices. They will work in production lines, air conditioning units and other industrial installations. Thanks to its special construction, the cable is flexible and resistant to mechanical damage. It can be used in both permanent and movable installations inside buildings. The coating is resistant to the action of oils, which expands the range of applications of the cable.

The cable construction includes:

• Cores: flexible, stranded with soft copper wires (tinned on request), class 5 according to PN-EN 60228.
• Insulation: made of black insulating PVC with white core numbering for easy identification.
• Core arrangement: cores twisted in layers in the core, and in the version with a protective conductor (YnKSLYżo-Nr) – green-yellow protective conductor arranged in the outer layer.
• Wrapping: core wrapped with polyester tape for additional protection.
• Sheath: made of special rubberized PVC (self-extinguishing) with increased fire resistance, black RAL 9005 (other colors available on request).
