This flame-retardant control cable by TECHNOKABEL, designated as YnKSLY-Nr 500V 5x1.5, is a robust solution for control, safety, and electrical power systems. It is particularly recommended in applications requiring high fire resistance and minimal risk of flame propagation.

Internal structure – key to longevity

The cable consists of five conductors, each with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², made from soft copper strands (zinc plating available on request). Each conductor is insulated with black insulating PVC featuring white numbering for easy identification. Conductors are twisted in layers around a central core; in the version with protective conductor (YnKSLYżo-Nr), the green-yellow protective conductor is positioned in the outer layer. The core is wrapped in polyester tape, and the entire assembly is covered with a special self-extinguishing rubberized PVC sheath with enhanced flame resistance – color black RAL 9005 (other colors available on request).
