Fire-resistant power cable – safety and reliability in critical situations

This orange power cable with a cross-section of 3x6/6 mm² is designed to ensure continuous power supply in fire hazard situations. Intended for installation in buildings and facilities with increased fire protection requirements, such as hospitals, shopping centers, or tunnels, it guarantees reliable operation of critical safety systems. Its construction based on halogen-free materials minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, protecting the health and lives of users.

The cable meets stringent fire resistance standards (PH90/E90), meaning it maintains its electrical properties for at least 90 minutes in fire conditions. This is crucial for maintaining the operation of devices such as fire pumps, smoke extractors, or emergency lighting. It is used for permanent laying both indoors and outdoors, and its sheath is resistant to UV radiation. The possibility of laying in water and soil after applying additional protection increases its versatility.

Construction and materials

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term and safe operation. The cores are made of soft copper wires (RE – solid or RM – stranded), which facilitates installation and provides good flexibility. The insulation is made of special cross-linked silicone rubber, and the cable filling is a halogen-free material. The outer sheath made of HFFR plastic (with HM4 properties according to PN-HD 604 S1) provides resistance to mechanical damage and UV radiation. All these elements together guarantee high quality and reliability of the product.
