Fire-resistant power cable designed for applications requiring uninterrupted power supply during fire conditions. Manufactured from high-quality materials, it ensures reliable protection of installations and safety of people in buildings with enhanced fire safety requirements. Ideal for powering fire-critical equipment such as water pumps and smoke extraction fans.

Application and Construction

This cable is designed for installation in locations where maintaining power during a fire is critical – tunnels, hospitals, shopping centers, cinemas, and other public buildings. It provides 90 minutes of sustained electrical functionality, essential for evacuation and fire suppression systems. It holds a Certificate of Conformity and Approval Certificate from the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection – PIB in Józefów.

The cable construction includes:

• Conductors made of soft copper strands (available in Class 1 and 2),
• Insulation made of cross-linked silicone rubber, marked in colors according to PN-HD 308 or black with white conductor numbers,
• Layered twisted insulated conductors in a filler core,
• Non-halogen filler material,
• Outer sheath made of non-halogenated material (HFFR) with HM4 properties per PN-HD 604 S1, in orange color.

The cable does not propagate flame, emits very little smoke, and releases non-toxic and non-corrosive gases. It is UV-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Additional protection allows installation in water and soil.

Technical Specifications

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² and consists of four cores (4x1.5/1.5 RE). It is manufactured in accordance with standard PN-EN 60228, ensuring quality and reliability. Its fire resistance has been certified under FE180 PH90/E90, confirming the ability to maintain functionality for 90 minutes under fire conditions. Important: This cable must not be used in areas protected by fixed water-based fire suppression systems.
