This fire-resistant power cable, designated as NHXH-J FE180 PH90/E90 0.6/1 kV, is designed to ensure continuous power supply in emergency situations, particularly during a fire. Construction and properties
The cable consists of 16 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², made of soft copper wires. The cores are insulated with halogen-free plastic, which ensures safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke. Twisted layer cores are placed in a center filled with a halogen-free material. The whole is surrounded by an outer sheath made of halogen-free material (HFFR) in orange color, providing additional protection against external factors and identifying the cable as fire-resistant.
It is worth noting the FE180 PH90/E90 classification – it indicates the cable's ability to maintain the continuity of the electrical circuit for 90 minutes in fire conditions (PH90) and resistance to flames for 180 minutes (FE180). This confirms its high parameters and reliability in extreme situations.
