The NHXH-J FE180 PH90/E90 cable is intended for use in electrical installations where maintaining power continuity during a fire is critical. Thanks to its halogen-free insulation and sheath, the cable does not propagate flame, emits minimal smoke, and produces non-toxic and non-corrosive gases. This makes it particularly recommended for public buildings – hospitals, shopping centers, cinemas, theaters, stadiums – as well as metro tunnels. It ensures continued electrical functionality for 90 minutes (PH90/E90), enabling safe evacuation and effective firefighting operations. The cable is certified by the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection – PIB in Józefów.

Construction and properties

The cable features a robust construction ensuring long-term and reliable performance. It is made from soft copper conductors (class 1 or 2, depending on the RE or RM marking), facilitating installation and providing flexibility. The core insulation is made from cross-linked halogen-free compound, while the outer sheath is composed of HFFR (Highly Flame Retardant, Halogen Free) material with HM4 properties according to PN-HD 604 S1. The orange sheath color simplifies identification within installations. Additionally, the cable is UV-resistant, allowing for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be installed in water and soil (with additional protection), expanding its range of applications.
