Fire-resistant telecommunication cable – safety and reliability in critical installations

The HTKSH FE180 PH90/E30-E90 cable is an advanced solution designed for alarm, signaling, teletransmission systems, and sound warning systems (DSO). It is ideal for facilities with increased fire safety requirements, especially in fire alarm and fire automation installations. The cable is designed for data transmission via analog and digital signals, as well as for powering devices in industrial electronics and automation installations.

A key feature of the cable is its fire resistance, confirmed by the Certificate of Conformity and Approval Certificate of the Scientific Research Center for Fire Protection - PIB in Józefów. The use of halogen-free materials increases the safety of people and protects expensive electronic equipment in the event of a fire. In the event of ignition, the cable does not spread flames, emits minimal smoke, and non-toxic and non-corrosive gases, which is crucial for ensuring safe evacuation and effective firefighting.

The HTKSH FE180 PH90/E30-E90 cable is water-resistant (according to PN-EN 50200 Annex E) and can be used in rooms equipped with fixed water extinguishing systems (sprinkler zones). It is intended for permanent internal installations.

Construction and parameters

The cable consists of 28 cores, each with a cross-section of 0.8 mm². The cores are made of soft copper wires, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation. The core insulation is made of a halogen-free plastic, and the insulation colors comply with PN-92/T-90321. The cores are twisted in pairs, then in a center, which is wrapped with a polyester tape. The whole is surrounded by a red halogen-free HFFR coating (according to EN 50290-2-27 and VDE 0250-214 – HM2), providing additional protection against external factors.
