This red telecommunication cable HTKSHekw FE180 PH90/E30-E90, manufactured by TECHNOKABEL S.A., is designed for use in installations requiring a high level of fire protection. It is intended for permanent connections in alarm systems, signaling systems, teletransmission systems, sound warning systems (DSO), and for data transmission in industrial installations and automation. This cable ensures reliable communication even in extreme conditions.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of 28 cores, each with a cross-section of 0.8 mm². The copper cores are made of soft strands, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation. The core insulation is made of halogen-free plastic, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – this is crucial for the safety of people and the protection of equipment. The twisted pair cores are additionally protected by a common static screen made of laminated metal foil, which protects against electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable, red halogen-free (HFFR) plastic coating.
The cable meets stringent fire resistance standards – FE180 (function maintenance for 180 minutes) and PH90/E30-E90 (resistance to flames and smoke). It has a Certificate of Conformity and a Certificate of Approval from the Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection - PIB in Józefów, which confirms its highest quality and safety. Additionally, the cable is water-resistant according to PN-EN 50200 Annex E and can be used in sprinkler zones.
