Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction ensuring safety and reliability. Made of solid copper wires, it has insulation made of halogen-free plastic, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – important for protecting health and property. The wires are twisted in pairs, and the cable core is additionally protected by a static shield protecting against electromagnetic interference. A common static shield with an earthing conductor provides effective protection against induction of external electric fields. The cable jacket is made of halogen-free HFFR material (High Flame Retardant, Halogen Free), meeting the standards EN 50290-2-27 and VDE 0250-214 – HM2.
