Fire-Resistant Telecommunication Cable HTKSHekw FE180 PH90/E30-E90
This white fire-resistant cable is designed for fixed indoor installations requiring high fire resistance and minimal emission of toxic gases during a fire. It is ideal for alarm, signaling, teletransmission, and sound warning systems (DSO). It also performs reliably in data transmission for industrial and automation installations, particularly in facilities with enhanced fire safety requirements.
The cable is engineered to ensure continuous operation of critical systems during a fire—both during the event itself and while it is being extinguished. Thanks to halogen-free materials, smoke emission is extremely low, and the released gases are non-toxic and non-corrosive, enhancing human safety and protecting expensive electronic equipment. The cable holds a Certificate of Conformity and Approval Certificate from the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection – PIB in Józefów.
Construction and Features
The HTKSHekw FE180 cable features a robust construction ensuring reliability and durability:
- Conductors: Made of soft copper strands, facilitating installation and ensuring flexibility. Conductor cross-section: 0.8 mm²; number of conductors: 4.
- Insulation: Composed of mica tape and halogen-free compound, ensuring safety during fire. Conductor insulation colors comply with PN-92/T-90321 for easy identification.
- Shielding: Common static shield made of laminated metallic foil protects against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. Includes an additional grounding conductor made of zinc-plated copper strands.
- Outer Sheath: Made of halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) compound with high fire resistance, meeting requirements of EN 50290-2-27 and VDE 0250-214 – HM2.
The cable is resistant to water exposure according to PN-EN 50200 Annex E, allowing its use in areas protected by fixed fire suppression systems (sprinkler zones). The cable construction complies with WT-TK-43 requirements and holds CNBOP-PIB-KOT-2021/0296-3701 Issue 1.
