Construction and properties

The key to the cable’s reliability lies in its carefully designed structure. It features flexible, multi-wire copper conductors of Class 5 (compliant with PN-EN 60228), ensuring flexibility and ease of installation. Each conductor is insulated with black insulating PVC (polyvinyl chloride) featuring white printed conductor numbers, simplifying identification during installation and maintenance. Conductors are twisted into layers around a central core; in the version with protective conductor (YnKSLYżo-Nr), the green-yellow protective conductor is positioned in the outer layer. The core is wrapped with a polyester tape for additional mechanical protection.

The outer sheath is made of special self-extinguishing PVC with an elevated oxygen index, guaranteeing high fire resistance—the cable complies with PN-EN 60332-3 standard for flame propagation resistance along vertically installed cable bundles. This minimizes the risk of fire spread in case of failure. Additionally, the sheath exhibits excellent resistance to oil exposure.
