Construction and properties

Multi-wire copper conductors (twisted) ensure good conductivity and resistance to mechanical damage. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides effective protection against moisture and chemical influences. Importantly, the cable meets the PN-EN 60332-3 standard, which means it does not spread flames in the event of a fire – crucial for the safety of the entire system. This makes it ideal for use in places with increased fire safety requirements.

A special version (TECHNOKONTROL YnKSLY-Nr-O 0.6/1 kV) with increased oil resistance and a halogen-free version (TECHNOKONTROL HKSLH-Nr 0.6/1 kV), which minimizes the emission of toxic gases during a fire, are also available. The conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² and the 2-core configuration make this cable an optimal choice for many control and power applications.
