Fire-resistant control cable – reliability and safety of installation

This black control cable YnKSLY-Nr 0.6/1 kV with a cross-section of 5x1.0 mm² is a solid solution for both professional installers and end customers. The cable is designed to operate in control, safety and steering systems, as well as to power devices in industrial installations. Its fire-resistant properties provide additional safety in the event of a fire.

Construction and application

YnKSLY-Nr cables manufactured by TECHNOKABEL S.A. are characterized by a flexible construction, which facilitates their installation and routing in tight spaces. They are made of multi-wire copper conductors of class 5, insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material with a white imprint of the core number. The cores are twisted into a center, which is additionally wrapped with a polyester tape to increase mechanical strength. The whole is surrounded by a special polyvinyl chloride sheathing that is self-extinguishing and meets the PN-EN 60332-3 standard regarding the limitation of flame propagation.

This cable is ideal for industrial installations, production lines, air conditioning equipment and anywhere where reliable operation and high resistance to external factors are required. It can be used for both permanent installations and movable connections inside buildings. The cable coating exhibits good resistance to oils, making it suitable for use in petrol stations or warehouses.
