Construction and properties
TECHNOKONTROL YnKSLY-Nr cables are engineered for demanding operating conditions. Constructed with flexible, multi-stranded copper conductors (optionally tin-plated), insulated with black PVC featuring white numbering print. The twisted cores are arranged in a polyester tape-wrapped core, with the entire assembly enclosed in a special self-extinguishing PVC sheath with enhanced flame resistance (RAL 9005). This construction ensures not only high mechanical and electrical resistance but also limits flame propagation in case of fire—the cable complies with standard PN-EN 60332-3.
Additionally, a version with oil-resistant sheath (TECHNOKONTROL YnKSLY-Nr-O) is available, ideal for environments exposed to petroleum-based substances, and a reinforced version for outdoor installation or direct burial (YnvKSLY-Nr). For applications requiring the highest safety standards, halogen-free cables (HKSLH-NR) are also offered, minimizing the emission of toxic gases during fire.
