Construction and properties
The YSLCY-OZ cable is distinguished by its careful construction. It consists of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², which provide adequate conductivity and flexibility. Each conductor is insulated with PVC insulation, and their color scheme (black with white conductor number printing) makes identification easier during installation. The conductors are twisted around a core wrapped with a polyester tape, which further protects them against mechanical damage. The whole is surrounded by a screen of tinned copper wires, which minimizes the influence of external interference. The coating made of PVC sheathing in gray RAL 7001 color provides protection against external factors and mechanical damage.
It is worth mentioning the possibility of ordering cables in a special version resistant to oils (YSLCY-JZ OR, YSLCY-OZ OR, YSLCY-JB OR, YSLCY‑OB OR). They are intended for places exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials, e.g. petrol stations or fuel depots. Halogen-free versions (HSLCH-JZ, HSLCH-OZ, HSLCH-JB, HSLCH‑OB) are also available, which increase fire safety – they limit the spread of flames and the emission of toxic gases.
