Energy cable YnKY 0.6/1 kV – reliability and safety in your installation

This YnKY 0.6/1 kV energy cable with five cores of 25 mm² cross-section is a solid solution for transmitting electrical energy in demanding conditions. It is suitable for both industrial installations, power plants, and local power supply networks. The cable is designed for permanent laying indoors, outdoors, in cable ducts, and directly in the ground.

Construction and application

YnKYżo and YnKY cables are a universal choice for installers and end-users. Their construction based on soft copper wires ensures flexibility and ease of installation. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) guarantees safe use, and the outer coating made of the same material protects against mechanical damage and the influence of atmospheric factors. This cable is particularly recommended where high resistance to abrasion and exposure to moisture are required.

The cable construction includes:

• cores made of soft copper wires (RE, RM or SM – depending on the specification),
• insulation made of insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in colors according to PN-HD 308 standard (in YnKYżo cable, a green-yellow protective conductor),
• twisted cores with insulation,
• a coating made of sheathing polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in black color (other colors available on request).
