This shielded control / data transmission cable, catalog number 0491 037 05, is an ideal solution for control, safety and automation systems, as well as for powering electrical equipment. The cable is designed to minimize interference and ensure stable signal transmission. The twisted pair construction reduces mutual interaction between transmitted signals, which is crucial in precise applications.

Construction and application

The YKSLYekw-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV cable is characterized by flexibility and mechanical strength, making installation easier even in difficult conditions. A common static screen effectively protects against electromagnetic interference from both external sources and prevents the emission of interference into the environment. This makes the cable suitable for environments with high levels of interference. It can be used in both fixed and mobile installations inside buildings. The outer sheath made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides resistance to oil exposure.

The cable cores are made of soft copper wires, twisted in pairs and insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The insulation colors of the cores comply with PN-92/T-90321 (IEC 60189-2) for YKSLYekw-P 0.6/1 kV cable or black and brown with white printing of the pair number in YKSLYekw-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV cable. The cable core is wrapped with a polyester tape for additional protection. Under the screen there is an earthing conductor made of tinned copper wires.

Specification and additional options

The cable has 48 cores with a cross-section of 0.75 mm². Special versions are also available:

• TECHNOKONTROL YKSLYekw-P-O 0.6/1 kV and TECHNOKONTROL YKSLYekw-P-Nr-O 0.6/1 kV: designed for use in places exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials (e.g. petrol stations), with an oil-resistant coating.
• TECHNOKONTROL YnKSLYekw-P 0.6/1 kV and TECHNOKONTROL YnKSLYekw-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV: versions with increased fire resistance, meeting the PN-EN 60332-3 standard regarding the absence of flame propagation.
• TECHNOKONTROL YvKSLYekw-P 0.6/1 kV and TECHNOKONTROL YvKSLYekw-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV: cables with a reinforced polyvinyl chloride coating allowing installation outdoors and directly in the ground.
