This shielded control/data transmission cable, with a conductor cross-section of 1 mm² and four cores, is designed for use in control, protection, and automation systems, as well as for electrical power supply. Manufactured by TECHNOKABEL S.A., this cable features a design that minimizes interference and ensures high signal transmission reliability.

The cable YKSLYekw-P-Nr is characterized by flexibility and mechanical durability, facilitating installation even under challenging conditions. The twisted pair structure within the cable reduces mutual interference between signals, which is particularly critical in systems requiring precise data transmission. Additionally, the common static shield effectively protects against both external and electromagnetic interference emitted by the cable itself.

The cable construction includes:

• Conductors: Flexible, multi-wire copper (optionally tin-plated), Class 5 according to PN-EN 60228.
• Insulation: Insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC) – color coding compliant with PN-92/T-90321 (IEC 60189-2) for the YKSLYekw-P version; black and brown with white printed pair number for the YKSLYekw-P-Nr version.
• Twisting: Conductors twisted into pairs, then layered into a central core.
• Shielding: Common static shield made of metallized laminated foil, with a grounding conductor made of tin-plated copper wires positioned beneath the shield.
• Sheath: Black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) rubber sheath; other colors available on request.

This cable is suitable for fixed installations and mobile connections within buildings and demonstrates good resistance to oil exposure. Special versions are also available:

• YKSLYekw-P-O / YKSLYekw-P-Nr-O: Enhanced resistance to petroleum-based substances (e.g., fuel stations). Sheath made of special PVC compound compliant with PN-EN 60811-2-1.
• YnKSLYekw-P / YnKSLYekw-P-Nr: Enhanced flame retardancy, compliant with PN-EN 60332-3 regarding non-propagation of flame.
• YvKSLYekw-P / YvKSLYekw-P-Nr: Reinforced PVC sheath, designed for outdoor installations and direct burial in soil.
