TECHNOKONTROL YKSLYekw-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV control cable is an advanced solution designed for control systems, safety circuits, automation, and power supply. The construction with shielded twisted pairs minimizes signal interference, which is critical for precise industrial applications and automation. This cable performs reliably in both fixed and dynamic installations within buildings.

Construction and Application

The key feature of this cable is the use of twisted pair bundles. Twisting the conductors into pairs reduces mutual interference between transmitted signals, resulting in higher data transmission quality and system stability. Additionally, the common static shield effectively protects against electromagnetic interference from the environment and prevents emissions generated by the cable itself—especially important in high-noise environments.

The cable offers high flexibility and mechanical strength thanks to multi-strand copper conductors. The conductor insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ensuring excellent electrical insulation and resistance to mechanical damage. The outer sheath, made of black rubber-grade PVC, is oil-resistant, expanding the range of possible applications.

Construction Features

The cable construction includes:

• Flexible, multi-strand copper conductors, Class 5 (per PN-EN 60228),
• Insulation of conductors from insulating PVC – colors in accordance with PN-92/T-90321 standard, or black and brown with white-numbered pair markings (in YKSLYekw-P-Nr version),
• Insulated conductors twisted into pairs,
• Cable core wrapped with polyester tape for additional protection,
• Common static shield composed of laminated metallic foil and a grounding conductor made of galvanized copper wires,
• Outer sheath of black rubber-grade PVC (PVC).

Special versions of the cable are also available: oil-resistant (TECHNOKONTROL YKSLYekw-P-O / -Nr-O), enhanced flame-retardant (TECHNOKONTROL YnKSLYekw-P / -Nr), and direct-burial version (TECHNOKONTROL YvKSLYekw-P / -Nr).

The nominal conductor cross-section is 0.75 mm², with 8 cores. These specifications make the cable suitable for a wide range of control and data transmission applications.
