Shielded twisted-pair control cable YKSLYekw-P-Nr is an advanced solution designed for control, safety, and automation systems, as well as for electrical power supply. The twisted-pair construction minimizes mutual interference between signals, which is critical in installations requiring high-precision data transmission. Additionally, the common static shield effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, both external and self-generated by the cable itself.

This cable features high flexibility and mechanical durability, facilitating installation and ensuring reliability under demanding operating conditions. It is suitable for both fixed and moving installations indoors, and its sheath is resistant to oil exposure. Constructed with flexible, multi-strand copper conductors of 1 mm² cross-section, it ensures excellent conductivity and ease of handling. The cable contains 24 cores—two cores per each of the 12 twisted pairs.

Special cable variants are available upon request:

• YKSLYekw-P-O: Oil-resistant version, ideal for fuel stations or storage facilities for petroleum-based substances. The sheath is made from a special PVC compound offering resistance to oils and lubricants.
• YnKSLYekw-P: Flame-retardant cables complying with PN-EN 60332-3 standard for limiting flame spread.
• YvKSLYekw-P: Cables with reinforced PVC sheath, designed for outdoor installation and direct burial in soil.

The cable construction includes twisted pairs of PVC-insulated conductors, a polyester tape wrap, and a common static shield composed of a laminated metallic foil with a drain wire. The outer sheath is made of black rubber-grade PVC, although other colors are available on request. This design ensures compliance with high standards of safety and reliability across diverse industrial and commercial applications.
