Shielded twisted-pair control cable TECHNOKONTROL YKSLYekw-P-Nr 0.6/1 kV is an advanced solution designed for control, protection, and monitoring systems, as well as for electrical power supply. The twisted-pair construction minimizes mutual signal interference, which is critical in precision installations. A common static shield effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, both external and that emitted by the cable itself.

This cable features high flexibility and mechanical durability, facilitating installation and ensuring reliability under demanding operating conditions. It is suitable for both fixed and mobile internal installations. The outer sheath made of rubberized PVC provides resistance to oils, expanding the cable’s application range.

The cable construction is based on multi-wire copper conductors of Class 5 (per PN-EN 60228), insulated with PVC insulation. Conductors are twisted into pairs and then layered in a central core to ensure organization and minimize interference. The core is wrapped with a polyester tape for additional mechanical protection. A common static shield composed of laminated metallic foil, together with a grounding conductor, ensures effective protection against electromagnetic interference.

Special cable variants are also available:

• YKSLYekw-P-O: enhanced oil resistance – ideal for fuel stations, storage facilities, or bulk material handling stations.
• YnKSLYekw-P-Nr: enhanced flame retardancy – complies with PN-EN 60332-3 regarding flame propagation resistance.
• YvKSLYekw-P-Nr: reinforced sheath – designed for outdoor installations and direct burial in soil.

The cable contains 48 cores with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², enabling simultaneous transmission of a large number of signals. Note that custom versions with different conductor cross-sections and pair counts are available upon request to meet specific project requirements.
