Shielded twisted pair control cable – reliable data transmission
This flexible, shielded control cable TECHNOKONTROL YKSLYekw-P-Nr, designed for use in control, safety and automation systems, is a solid solution for both professional installers and end users. Designed to supply electrical power and transmit signals in energetic automation and electronics systems.
The cable is distinguished by its twisted pair construction, which minimizes mutual interference between signals. This ensures stable and reliable data transmission even in environments with high levels of interference. A common static screen effectively protects against the influence of external electromagnetic fields, preventing interference and noise emissions.
Construction and application
The cable is made of flexible, stranded copper conductors (tinned on request), which provides high flexibility and mechanical strength. The wire insulation is made of insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the insulation colors comply with PN-92/T-90321 (IEC 60189-2). In the YKSLYekw-P-Nr version, the wire insulation is black and brown with white printing of the pair number – this facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing.
The cable construction includes twisted pair wires, a core wrapped with a polyester tape, and a common static screen made of laminated metal foil with an earthing conductor. The sheath is made of black oil-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The cable is suitable for permanent laying and for movable connections inside buildings.
