The TECHNOKONTROL YKSLYekw-P control cable is designed for use in control, protection, and automation systems, as well as for electrical power supply. Its twisted pair construction minimizes mutual signal interference, ensuring stable and precise data transmission. The static shield effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, both external and emitted by the cable itself.

This cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring high reliability and resistance to interference, such as industrial automation, monitoring systems, and building installations. Thanks to its flexible design and mechanical durability, the cable performs reliably in both fixed and moving installations within buildings.

Construction and Application

The YKSLYekw-P cable features a carefully engineered design to ensure optimal operational parameters:

• Conductors: Flexible, multi-strand conductors made of soft copper wires (optionally zinc-coated), Class 5 according to PN-EN 60228.
• Insulation: Insulating PVC in colors compliant with PN-92/T-90321 (IEC 60189-2), or black and brown with white-numbered pair markings (in -Nr version).
• Twisted Pairs: Conductors twisted into pairs and then layered within the cable core.
• Shield: Common static shield composed of a laminated metallic foil with a grounding conductor made of tin-coated copper wires.
• Jacket: Black PVC rubberized jacket; other colors available on request.

This construction ensures not only flexibility and mechanical strength but also effective protection against interference and resistance to oil exposure.

Special Cable Versions

In addition to the standard version, special variants of the YKSLYekw-P cable are available:

• YKSLYekw-P-O: Resistant to hydrocarbon-based substances – ideal for petrol stations or storage facilities. Jacket made of special PVC complying with PN-EN 60811-2-1.
• YnKSLYekw-P: Enhanced flame retardancy – self-extinguishing jacket meeting PN-EN 60332-3.
• YvKSLYekw-P: Reinforced jacket – suitable for outdoor installations and direct burial in soil.

The cable has a nominal conductor cross-section of 1 mm² and consists of 40 conductors, making it a versatile solution for diverse control and data transmission applications.
