Construction and practical application

The YKSLYekw-P-Nr cable is characterized by flexibility and mechanical strength, which facilitates its installation and operation even in difficult conditions. The cable cores are made of soft copper strands, twisted in pairs, which ensures good flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. The core insulation is made of insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the insulation colors comply with PN-92/T-90321 (consistent with IEC 60189-2) or black and brown with white pair numbering – this facilitates the identification of individual cores during installation and servicing.

The use of twisted pairs is a key structural element – it reduces interference between signals transmitted in the cable, which is particularly important in control and measurement systems. The cable center is additionally protected with a polyester tape, and the whole is surrounded by a common static screen made of laminated metal foil and an earthing conductor to ensure maximum protection against interference. The outer coating made of black rubberized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides resistance to mechanical damage and the action of oils.
