YKSLYekw-P cable is a reliable solution for transmitting signals in control, security and automation systems, as well as for supplying electrical power. The construction with twisted pairs minimizes the mutual influence between signals, which translates into stability and precision of operation. Static shielding effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, both external and emitted by the cable itself.

This cable is characterized by high flexibility and mechanical strength, which facilitates installation and ensures long-term operation even in difficult conditions. It is designed for use both indoors (fixed and mobile installations) and in environments exposed to contact with oils.

The use of 24 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² allows for the construction of extensive signaling and power installations. Manufactured by the renowned manufacturer TECHNOKABEL, the cable meets high standards of quality and safety.

Construction and design features

YKSLYekw-P cable stands out with a careful construction that affects its usability:

• Cores: flexible, stranded, twisted from copper wires (optionally tinned), class 5 according to PN-EN 60228 – provide flexibility and good conductivity.
• Insulation: polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation in colors according to PN-92/T-90321 standard (or black/brown with white number printing of the pair in the -Nr version) – facilitates identification of cores during installation.
• Twisted pairs: cores twisted in pairs minimize mutual signal interference.
• Screen: common static screen made of laminated metal foil and earthing conductor – protects against electromagnetic interference.
• Sheath: black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket, resistant to oils – ensures durability and protection against mechanical damage.

Special versions of the cable are also available:

• -O: oil resistant – ideal for gas stations, warehouses or fuel transshipment stations.
• YnKSLYekw-P: with increased flame retardancy – meets the PN-EN 60332-3 standard regarding the lack of flame propagation.
• YvKSLYekw-P: with reinforced jacket – for outdoor installations and direct burial in the ground.
