Signal cable for industrial and control applications

This YKSY-Nr 0.6/1 kV signal cable with 37 cores of 1 mm² cross-section is a reliable solution for transmitting signals in various applications. It is suitable for both industrial installations, production lines, and air conditioning systems. The cable is designed to operate in dry and humid environments, as well as outdoors – in cable ducts or directly in the ground.

Construction and materials

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring durability and resistance to damage. It consists of:

• single-wire cores made of soft copper class 1 (according to PN-EN 60228), which ensures good flexibility and easy installation.
• core insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), with black cores marked with white numbers for easy identification. In the YKSYżo-Nr version, the protective green-yellow core is located in the outer layer.
• layered twisted insulated cores, forming the cable center.
• a center wrapped with a polyester tape, which provides additional protection for the cores.
• an outer sheath made of flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in black – other colors are also available on request.

Applications and specifications

The YKSY-Nr cable is intended for use in energy-based control, protection and control devices and for supplying electrical energy. Thanks to its construction and materials, this cable performs perfectly in demanding industrial conditions. The operating voltage of the cable is 0.6/1 kV, and the test voltage is 4 kV. The minimum insulation resistance is 20 MΩ·km. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/UE and standards IEC 60502-1, PN-93/E-90403 and PN-HD 603 S1. The permissible operating temperature at the core is +70°C, and at short circuit +160°C. The minimum bending radius is 12 times the cable diameter.
