Construction and materials – the key to durability

The YKSY-Nr cable is characterized by careful construction. Its 37 strands made of soft copper class 1 (according to PN-EN 60228) provide flexibility and ease of installation. Each strand is insulated with PVC insulating material, and the strand colors – black with white numbering – facilitate the identification of individual wires. In the YKSYżo-Nr version, the green-yellow protective strand is placed outside the cable. Layered-twisted strand cores are additionally wrapped with a polyester tape to increase mechanical strength. The whole is surrounded by a black coating of PVC sheathing, providing protection against external factors.

Applications and special versions – adaptation to needs

The YKSY-Nr cable performs well in various working conditions. Special versions are also available:

• YKSYżo-Nr-O: designed for environments exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials (e.g. petrol stations), thanks to an oil-resistant coating.
