Signal cable YKSYFty-Nr is a solid solution for transmitting signals in demanding conditions. Designed for power control, protection and control devices, as well as for supplying electrical energy. It will work well in both industrial installations, production lines, and air conditioning systems. Thanks to the steel tape armor, the cable is resistant to mechanical damage and constitutes an effective barrier against rodents. Additionally, the armor provides shielding, minimizing signal interference.
The cable construction is based on copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², which guarantees efficient current conduction. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides good electrical insulation and resistance to external factors. The outer sheath made of high-flame-retardant rubberized PVC meets the PN-EN 60332-3 standard, increasing safety. This cable is also oil-resistant (according to IEC 60811-404), making it an ideal choice for industrial environments exposed to contact with oils.
Construction and properties
The YKSYFty-Nr cable is characterized by a construction consisting of seven twisted copper conductors, which ensures flexibility and facilitates installation. The conductors are numbered for easy identification during installation. Thanks to the permissible operating temperature of the conductors up to 70°C and the environment from -30°C to 70°C, the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range. The minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 174 mm, which should be taken into account during installation design. The rated voltage of the cable is 600/1000 V, which allows it to be used in various electrical applications.
The use of special rubberized PVC provides not only high mechanical and chemical resistance, but also increases safety by limiting the spread of fire in accordance with the IEC/EN 60332-1-2 standard. This is a key solution for installations in public places or with increased fire safety requirements.
