Telecommunication cable for outdoor and indoor applications

The XzKAXwekw 3x2x0.8 cable is a versatile solution for telecommunications installations, both inside and outside buildings. The cable construction, with six 0.8 mm² cross-section conductors, makes it ideal for transmitting signals in telephone networks, alarm systems and other communication systems. Manufactured by the renowned TECHNOKABEL S.A., it guarantees reliable and durable connections.

Construction and application

The cable consists of three bundles, each containing two polyethylene (PE) insulated conductors. These conductors are twisted in pairs, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a foil as a common screen, providing additional protection against external interference. The outer sheath made of polyethylene (PE) protects the cable against mechanical damage and weather conditions. This allows the cable to be used in a wide range of temperatures – from -40°C to +70°C for fixed installations and from -10°C to +50°C for mobile connections.

Although it is not halogen-free (EN 50267-2-2) or low smoke emission (EN 61034-2), its solid construction ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Thanks to the foil screen, electromagnetic interference is minimized, which translates into high signal quality. In addition, approval for use as an outdoor cable confirms its resistance to weather conditions. The approximate weight of the cable is 95 kg/km and the outer diameter is about 9.3 mm.
