Cat 5E UTP cable is a fundamental element of network infrastructure, designed for internal installations in buildings. Construction and Application

This cable consists of eight solid copper conductors, which translates to good flexibility and ease of routing during installation. Each pair of conductors is twisted, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures a stable signal. Insulation made of high-quality plastic protects the conductors from mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is designed for horizontal and vertical installations inside buildings.

Thanks to the conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm², the cable provides adequate performance for most home and office applications. Color-coded conductors facilitate the identification of individual pairs during installation and network maintenance.

Operating Parameters

The cable maintains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -30°C to 70°C for fixed connections and from -10°C to 50°C for flexible connections. This makes it possible to use it in various environmental conditions without fear of losing parameters. The conductor diameter is 0.51 mm, which affects the cable's flexibility and ease of laying.
