The TS 1 heating element functions as an independent component of the heating system – it is not integrated with the controller.

It is traditionally mounted to the radiator using a 24 mm wrench, after which any controller from the KTX series can be connected to its cable. This means you do not need to dismantle the radiator if you wish to replace the controller – simply disconnect it from the heating element and install a new one.

The ability to replace the controller without moving the radiator is a key advantage for the installer.

There is no need to disconnect pipes or drain the system again – simply unscrew the old regulator, connect the new one, and continue. This saves time and eliminates the risk of leaks. For the end user, this means that in the future you can upgrade the radiator's functions (e.g., add a programmer or temperature sensor) without having to purchase a new device.

The heating element is made from a material resistant to internal radiator conditions and is designed for operation in Class I systems.

Compatible with 230 V / 50 Hz voltage and available in 1000 W power, it operates stably in standard bathroom installations. The 1/2" thread allows installation in most radiators compatible with the Terma Split system.

Installation is simple but requires caution.

Before starting work, always switch off the power supply and drain the radiator. After unscrewing the old heating element, it is advisable to thoroughly clean the thread – residues of rust or sediment can lead to leaks. The new heating element should be tightened by hand until resistance is felt – excessive force should not be used.

There is no need to purchase a new radiator simply because the controller has stopped working.

The TS 1 heating element can be used for years – its lifespan depends mainly on water quality and the frequency of operating cycles. The controller is an electronic component that wears out; the heating element – a mechanical component – often lasts longer than the entire control unit.
