KTX 4 Chrome Heating Element – Solution with Separated Controller and Heating Element

The KTX 4 Chrome heating element is not a typical radiator accessory – it is a system that allows independent replacement of the controller without removing the heating element. Thanks to the original Terma-SPLIT connector, installation, service, or modernization become simpler: simply disconnect the controller, while the heating element remains in the radiator – without leaks, without unscrewing the 1/2" GZ thread.

The controller features a clear, single-digit blue LED display and a membrane keypad. Set the temperature within the 30–60°C range across one of five levels – the sensor maintains it precisely, while indicators show whether the radiator is operating or in standby. The ANTIFREEZE function automatically activates heating when the temperature drops below 5–7°C, preventing freezing of the installation in unused rooms.

You can program the drying function: select an operating time from 1 to 4 hours, as well as the heating element power (200W, 300W, 400W, 600W, 800W, or 1000W) – the power is not built-in; you choose it at purchase. The operating hour counter tracks energy consumption – useful for both end-users and building managers.

Communication with the wall-mounted programmer occurs via the IR infrared module – no cables are needed for remote control. The device retains settings even after a power failure. The housing is symmetrical – mounting on the left or right side of the radiator makes no difference.

Safety features are dual: overheating protection activates at two levels. The spiral cable (extendable up to 1.5 m) terminated with a plug is the standard version – connection is aesthetic and safe. Protection class I, protection rating IPx5 – resistant to moisture and splashes.

The chrome finish complements modern radiators and faucets – not only functional but also aesthetically matched to the interior.
