Heater KTX 4 silver WEKT4KSMAU
KTX 4 silver heater – solution with detachable controller
The KTX 4 silver heater is a heating element integrated with an electronic controller that can be completely detached from the heating element itself without the need to dismantle the radiator – thanks to the original Terma-SPLIT connector. This solution significantly facilitates servicing, replacement, or controller updates, even after years of use.
The controller is equipped with 5-level temperature regulation in the range of 30–60°C, and its microprocessor control ensures stable maintenance of the set value. The LED display shows the current operating status – whether it is heating mode, standby status, or a system error. It operates in protection class I and features double overheating protection, including a function that blocks operation in the absence of fluid in the radiator.
The ANTIFREEZE function automatically activates heating when the temperature drops below 5–7°C – ideal for rooms left unoccupied for extended periods. Additionally, a drying function is available: you can program the operating time from 1 to 4 hours and the power level – e.g., after laundry or during humid periods.
The controller communicates wirelessly with a wall-mounted programmer via an IR infrared module, enabling remote management of multiple heaters in a single room or integration with home automation systems. In the event of a power loss, it retains settings – thus functioning as part of a smart building system.
A cable with a plug or a screw terminal (concealed under the housing) provides mounting flexibility. The housing is symmetrical – it can be mounted on either the left or right side of the radiator. The silver color is a matte finish, resistant to fingerprints and easy to clean.
IP54 protection guards against dust and water splashes – sufficient for installations in bathrooms or kitchens. An operating hour counter allows tracking of energy consumption – useful for both the end user and the building manager.
The heating element is designed for standard radiators with a power output of 200–1000 W (depending on length), and its construction allows installation on most types of radiators intended for electric heating.
