Heat shrink tubing – reliable connection protection

Heat shrink tubing with adhesive is a universal solution for sealing the ends of cables and wires, both in electrical and telecommunications installations. Made of polyolefin (PO-X), they provide effective protection against moisture, corrosion, chemicals and mechanical damage. This model, with dimensions of 55/25 mm after shrinking, is particularly useful in places exposed to harsh environmental conditions.

Properties and application

Heat shrink tubing plays a key role in ensuring the safety and durability of electrical connections. The inner layer of hot-melt adhesive further strengthens the insulation seal, minimizing the risk of short circuits and failures. They are ideal for protecting screws exposed to aggressive chemical substances, acids and bases. Thanks to the 3:1 shrinkage ratio, one tubing fits a wide range of wire diameters. Designed to operate at temperatures from -45°C to +110°C, they will perform well in demanding industrial and domestic applications.

Safety and compliance with standards

Made of halogen-free material, these heat shrink tubings minimize the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire, increasing the safety of the installation and users. Although they do not have a UL certificate, they meet high quality standards and are manufactured by a reputable manufacturer – Trytyt. Their dielectric strength is at least 16 kV/mm, which guarantees reliable electrical insulation. The black color facilitates identification and aesthetic mounting.
