Main conductor clamp Hlak 35 1/2 blue. 2x25mm2/2x35mm2 HLAK-35-1/2NB
Professional branch terminal for electrical installations
The HLAK-35-1/2NB main conductor terminal is a high-quality branching device designed for professional installation in electrical switchgear and distribution boards. Version C provides full protection against accidental finger contact with all conductive elements, guaranteeing user safety in accordance with the highest industry standards.
Construction and materials
The terminal body is made of tin-plated brass, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The fastening elements are made of galvanized steel, guaranteeing durable screw connections. The insulating housing is made of impact-resistant and flame-retardant nylon, which is also halogen-free—meeting RoHS directive requirements.
The standard housing color is light grey RAL 7035; however, versions in light blue RAL 5012 and green-yellow RAL 6018 are also available for easy identification of different circuits. All edges are rounded for safety during installation and operation.
Electrical parameters and connection capabilities
The device supports inputs with a cross-section of 10-35 mm² and outputs of 1.5-25 mm², allowing for flexible connections of various conductor types—solid, fine-stranded flexible, and multi-stranded. A rated current of 130 A provides sufficient capacity for most applications in domestic and industrial installations.
Connections are made using two screws per connection with Pozidriv Z2 type screws. The tightening torque is 3.5 Nm for the input and 2.5 Nm for the output. The conductor stripping length is 25 mm, which facilitates correct installation.
Installation and compliance with standards
The terminal is mounted on a standard 35 mm DIN rail according to EN 50022/EN 60715 using a simple snap-on mechanism. The IP20 protection rating ensures protection against finger contact while maintaining easy access to operating elements.
The device meets the requirements of the VDE 0603-2:1998-03 standard for main line branches in customer switchgear at AC 400V. Additionally, it holds IEC 60998-1:2002 certification for devices intended for low-voltage circuits in residential and similar buildings. The insulation voltage is 1000 V AC/DC for overvoltage category III at pollution degree 2, typical for distribution cabinets.
Current testing according to VDE 0613/EN 60998 confirms a current-carrying capacity of 125 A, providing a safe margin relative to the device's rated current.
