Main conductor branch terminal for DIN rail

The HLAK 35 main conductor terminal is a professional solution for splitting electrical circuits in switchgear and distribution boards. The HLAK-35-1/2SZ model enables the connection of one input conductor with a cross-section of 10-35 mm² to two outputs with cross-sections of 1.5-25 mm², providing a rated current of up to 130 A.

Construction and materials

The terminal body is made of tin-plated brass, which guarantees excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The fastening elements are made of galvanized steel, and the insulating housing is made of impact- and flame-resistant, halogen-free nylon. The design meets IP20 protection class requirements—it is touch-proof and ensures full operational safety.

The Type C design means that the terminals are protected on all sides against accidental finger contact, meeting the highest safety standards in electrical installations.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The device operates at a voltage of AC 400V and is intended for overvoltage category III installations according to VDE standards. The maximum insulation voltage is 1000V AC/DC, allowing for safe operation in domestic and industrial switchgear.

The terminal supports various conductor types: single-core, fine-stranded, and multi-core. The standard conductor stripping length is 25 mm. The tightening torque for the screws is 3.5 Nm for the input and 2.5 Nm for the outputs, ensuring a secure connection without the risk of overheating.

Mounting is performed on a standard 35mm DIN rail according to EN 50022/EN 60715, allowing for quick installation in existing distribution systems.

Normative compliance and certification

The product meets the requirements of the DIN-VDE 0603-2:1998-03 standard for main line branch connectors and the IEC 60998-1:2002 standard for low-voltage circuit connecting devices. It holds a VDE safety certificate, confirming compliance with German quality standards.

The housing is available in light grey (RAL 7035) as standard, and covers are offered in three color variants: light grey (RAL 7035), green-yellow (RAL 6018), and light blue (RAL 5012), allowing for adaptation to the installation's aesthetics.
