The thin-walled heat shrink tubing with adhesive RTCK3/1 is a high-quality insulation solution made of polyolefin (PO-X) and hot-melt adhesive. The product provides comprehensive protection for wires and cables against moisture, mechanical damage, and adverse weather conditions.

Material and structural properties

Made of halogen-free polyolefin, it guarantees not only excellent insulating properties but also user safety—the material is free from toxic heavy metals and substances such as PBB, PBBO, or PBBE. A 3:1 shrink ratio allows for precise fitting of the tubing to various shapes and sizes of components, creating a hermetic seal.

The internal diameter of 3 mm before shrinking reduces to 1 mm after shrinking, with a wall thickness of 1 mm. The standard length is 1.22 m, enabling convenient application over long sections of wires.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The operating temperature range from -45°C to +125°C (cited as -55°C in some sources) makes the tubing suitable for both refrigeration and high-temperature applications. The shrink temperature is approximately 90°C, and the minimum temperature for full shrinkage is 100°C, allowing for controlled application using various heating methods.

The product holds a UL certification, confirming the highest safety and quality standards. The nominal cross-section of the supported wires ranges from 0.34 to 1.5 mm², making it a universal solution for most standard installation applications.

The product can also be used for cable identification via printing (printable), which facilitates the organization of electrical installations and their subsequent maintenance or modernization.
