Heat shrink tubing RTCK4/1 is a high-quality product designed to protect wires and cables, especially in areas exposed to moisture. Made of polyolefin (PO-X) with the addition of hot-melt adhesive, it provides effective protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Its thin wall makes it easy to install even in hard-to-reach places.

Properties and application

The tubing is characterized by a shrinkage ratio of 4:1, which means that after heating, it reduces its diameter by 75%. This allows it to be adapted to different diameters of wires and cables in the range of 0.34 mm² to 2.5 mm². This makes it versatile in application – it will work both in electrical installations and in the repair of small devices. The use of adhesive inside the tubing provides additional insulation and sealing of the connection, protecting against corrosion and moisture.

The RTCK4/1 tubing is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the risk of toxic gases in the event of a fire. It has a UL certificate, confirming compliance with international safety standards. The possibility of printing on the tubing allows for easy identification of wires and cables after installation.

The tubing has an inner diameter of 4 mm before shrinking and 1 mm after shrinking. It operates in a temperature range from -45 to 125 °C and is supplied in lengths of 1.22 m. It is made of polyolefin (PO-X).
