It has a large program memory (1MB) and resources for fonts (512kB) and graphic objects (3MB). A fast program scan time (15 µs for 1k program) ensures a responsive system operation. Additionally, a built-in real-time clock and battery-backed memory retention (up to 7 years) guarantee reliable operation even in the event of a power failure. Access to RS232/485 ports enables communication with other devices and SCADA systems. Expandability via an expansion port allows support for up to 512 additional inputs/outputs. A built-in microSD card reader facilitates data archiving and software updates.
